Frequently Asked Questions

How are coaches screened?

Coaches & experts are carefully screened using an application submission, verification of relevant qualifications, and an onboarding interview call. Further, we monitor clients' ratings and reviews of each coach to ensure continued high standards.

How are coaches paid?

Clients pay up front on the CoffeeChat platform to book an individual session or team subscription. Once an individual confirms the completion of a session, those earnings become eligible for the coach to withdraw from their CoffeeChat dashboard.

Do you also offer assessments?

CoffeeChat can arrange third-party leadership and personality assessments for teams via appointed coaches certified to administer them.

About The Role

The Head of Growth will lead new client acquisition as we move from servicing dozens of B2B clients to hundreds over the coming years. Your responsibilities will include crafting marketing campaigns (both paid and organic), conducting demo calls with prospective clients, networking with HR, L&D and other relevant stakeholders, managing our blog and social media accounts, creating marketing content, hosting informational webinars and virtual events, exploring potential partnerships, and closing new deals. You will own and be held accountable for all growth-related KPIs including the qualified lead pipeline, customer acquisition cost, number of new clients, and number of new manager subscriptions, among others. As a member of a small start-up team, you will also be expected to thrive in our remote work environment, including participation in our daily Slack updates, weekly 1:1 check-ins and other team learning activities.

About You

You are ready for a new challenge and are excited about CoffeeChat’s mission. You have previously worked at or founded a start-up or new business unit, ideally with direct, client-facing exposure to B2B sales or partnership development in the edtech, HR, training or a similar sector. Experience with developing or revamping new go-to-market strategies, running paid LinkedIn ad campaigns, comfortable with cold outreach across a variety of platforms (email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp). Familiarity with SEO best practices. Skilled at negotiating and executing commercial partnerships and agreements to help expand market presence. You are prepared to build and optimize scalable processes to prepare CoffeeChat for sustainable growth. You are always willing to take on new responsibilities, are highly organized, and have a great aptitude for learning. You are highly comfortable using tools such as Slack, Google Sheets, Loom, Calendly and Canva. Strong English required, with French a plus.

Your responsibilities will include onboarding new coaches, managers and HR administrators onto our platform, monitoring utilization rates, responding to user questions and feedback, and keeping manager subscriptions and partner programs on track. You will own and be held accountable for all client-related KPIs including Net Promoter Score, average session ratings, key account growth, B2B client retention, and the manager utilization rate, among others. As a member of a small start-up team, you will also be expected to thrive in our remote work environment, including participation in our daily Slack updates, weekly 1:1 check-ins and other team learning activities.

Experience with new user onboarding, handling client support requests, program impact measurement and key account management.
